I was employed with Like Minds Communications, a small business public relations firm, from around mid February 2020 until early May 2020. While I worked with them, I helped put together various print and digital materials for their clients, and contributed to the generation of social media content across several platforms using Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Camp For All
Camp for All is a unique camping and retreat facility that works in collaboration with other non-profits to provide life changing programs for children and adults with challenging illnesses and special needs. During my time with Like Minds, I was honored to be able to help put together assets for their yearly email advertising campaign.
Dakota Enterprises
Dakota Enterprises is a real estate company whose goal is to provide affordable apartments to Houston and Texas’ growing workforce community. After the pandemic began to rear its ugly head, Dakota Enterprises reached out to Like Minds for help with producing a flyer that could educate their residents and staff about sanitary practices.
Dessert Gallery
Dessert Gallery is a woman-owned, LGBT+ friendly, small-business cafe located at 3600 Kirby Drive in Houston, TX. They serve a variety of delicious cakes and cookies with “a side of old-fashioned hospitality.” They were a client of Like Minds Communications during my time there, and I created several of the assets used in their social media posts.
Easter Seals Greater Houston
During the spring of 2020, due to the emergence of COVID-19, Easter Seals of Greater Houston had to organize a virtual Walk with Me event instead of their usual annual in-person run. Like Minds Communications was their partner for creating social media for the event as well as a handful of coloring sheets so that parents could encourage their children to participate during lockdowns.
Eighteen 36
Eighteen 36 is a restaurant and bar that opened in February 2020 that is representative of and draws inspiration from the past and present history of Houston for its drinks and delicious menu items. Even though they had trouble staying afloat after opening shortly before the outbreak of COVID-19, the restaurant quickly asked for Like Mind’s help with social media and print design services, and was able to gather a small, but dedicated following that supported them through their struggles.
Houston Catering Concepts / New York Deli and Coffee Shop
Located deep in the heart of the city of Houston, TX, Houston Catering Concepts has been serving locals and company functions for over 30 years. One of the menus they offer food from is one of their partners, New York Deli and Coffee Shop, and both companies were clients of Like Minds Communications during my time with them. I helped created a handful of print materials that were used to advertise passover meals and to-go dinners both before and during the early days of COVID-19.
