ADPOWER

I was employed with ADPOWER, a print shop on the South Loop in Houston, from the beginning of April 2019 until early November 2019. With them I put together some original designs from clients as well as some based in preexisting imagery, printed separations films for screens with T-shirt production, worked with and produced print materials, and put together files for the production of promotional materials.

Wild West Brewfest Shirt Designs

Before ADPOWER went out of business in November of 2019, they were the sole producer of t-shirts for the Wild West Brewfest craft beer charity event hosted buy the Rotary Club of Katy. One of the design team’s (and therefore my) tasks was to create as many designs for the event as we could to give people several different options for beer-based pun shirts to purchase.

Risqué Business Signage

This particular piece was a sign request put in by a local Houston business. They were a bar that I believe had a Risqué Business slot machine and were looking to advertise that they had one available to play. The business also provided the assets needed and simply wanted a high quality reproduction on good signage material.

University Baptist Church VBS Summer 2019

One of ADPOWER’s many clients was a University Baptist Church which the owner attended. ADPOWER would often produce t-shirts for their various functions, and I had the privilege of putting together the design for their Summer 2019 VBS theme.

Space City Cruisers T-Shirt Design Spring 2019

Space City Cruisers is a non-profit organization, initially organized in 1995 by a group of people interested in automobiles. Today they are a sizable car club that hosts car shows every spring and fall in League City, and they were a frequent client of ADPOWER’s. I had the pleasure of putting together the design for the spring show in 2019.

Voodoo Doll Shirt Concept Art

Shortly before ADPOWER closed their business in November of 2019, a local artist had asked for some shirt designs based on a voodoo doll character they had created for their brand. Unfortunately ADPOWER went out of business before the designs could move out of the concept phase, but these were the few concepts I was the most proud of that I felt were good enough to show off.
